New releases and pre-orders 6th of July 2018

Kaidi Tatham is an incredible keyboard player and pioneer of the West London Broken beat sound. Albums from Kaidi are few and far in between and usually sell out quickly, so grab this fantastic album whilst we have them, on CD and Double vinyl. Sons of Kemet album sold out very quickly but we have some vinyl copies now back in stock, again these are likely to go quickly.

The Bamboo’s are the Australian band who brought Kyle Auldist to the fore, they return another new album. Shirley Davis’ retro soul album is now in on vinyl.
Some great reissues this week. Rare soul reissues Alex Brown, Ruby Andrews and shake, Jazz-Funk from Afrodisia and a great Freddie Hubbard live set Gleam, plus an unreleased Dennis Coffey live set from 1968, plus some other good titles on vinyl.
There are three good 45 titles from Everland plus Greg Henderson’s boogie classic on 12″.

Pre-orders

Pre-order for next week for The Suffers which will be one of the top new soul albums of the year, plus the Adrian Younge/Ali Shaheed Muhammad set which is another great album and the Randolph Baker rare disco boogie album and Bill Mason’s funky jazz classic. See all pre-orders here

June releases of the month

June was a great month for new releases and reissues, see our albums of the month feature here.
There have also been loads of great releases in the past couple of week, see the albums of the week features here.
We still have many of the RSD titles in stock but many are almost sold out, so please check the list here to grab any that you wanted but couldn’t get on the day now before they are gone.

Radio show

I hope that you enjoyed the show last week, if you missed it you can catch it again on the podcast here. I hope that you can join me again this Sunday at 10am on Solar radio/sky0129, Dab or the Solar app for another Soul Brother Selection.
Have a great weekend,
