Brandee is a very talented Jazz Harpist who has made two excellent albums and an EP, the latest 'Wax & Wane' produced by Casey Benjamin. Her music draws inspiration from Dorothy Ashby and Alice Coltrane, is amazingly relaxing but also very contemporary. It is a bumper week for great releases this week ! Pride of place goes to another great album coming from the London Jazz scene from Ruby Rushton keyboardist Nick Walters and the Paradox Ensemble 'Awakening' ft Tenderlonious and many other great musicians. These guys are on fire at the moment making music to a higher level than ever ! This is essential Spiritual Jazz. Lance Ferguson 'Rare Groove Spectrum' is another great album from the Australian featuring really good cover dance floor friendly versions of classic underground tracks.
