Millie Jackson’s 1986 album her debut for Jive adopted a more contemporary musical stance, but her vocals were as gritty as ever. ‘Love Is A Dangerous Game’, An Imitation of love’ and I need to be myself’ are classic Millie ballads. ‘Hot Wild and Unrestricted love’ and the cover of prince ‘I wanna be your lover’ were more uptempo with a mid 80’s sound.
