Great vocal jazz album from the Schema label highlighting the talents of Andrea Balducci backed by a great band ft Jukka Eskola, Timo Lassy etc. The album has a definite 60’s cool jazz feel with covers of ‘The Letter’ , ‘Hurt So Bad’ , ‘Spooky’ and an excellent version of Cannonball Adderley’s ‘Big City’. ‘Time Will Come’ and ‘Within Myself’ are good upbeat numbers. Not quite another Mario but Schema have found a good new vocalist.
