Legendary Chicago group The Impressions recorded these two solid but under-rated albums for the Chi-Sound label. ‘Come To My Party’ from 1979 incl the lovely shuffling title track and ‘All I want to do is make love to you’ and the dancer ‘This Can’t Be real’. Nat Evans returned for the 1981 album which was co-produced by Eugene Record. ‘Fan The Fire’ and ‘I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love’ are good uptempo dancers, whilst ‘You’re Mine’ is a nice mid tempo floater and ‘Take Everything’ a beat ballad.
