Pianist Greg Manning releases ‘Dance With You’ on Maurice White’s Kalimba label. His playing is reminiscent of Ramsey Lewis, with whom White played before his Earth Wind And Fire days. ‘Cruisin Down The Road’ and ‘Dance With You’ are driving upbeat Smooth Jazz numbers. ‘Phoenix Rise’ is a chirpy upbeat cut, whilst ‘Bahia’ and ‘Wayman’ are solid and melodic tunes. If you like Smooth Jazz piano, ‘Dance With You’ is highly recommended.
