‘Follow The Rainbow’ is from 1979 and shows George Duke at his funkiest best. Grooves like the P Funk flavoured ‘Party Down’, ‘I Am For Real’and ‘Funkin For The Thrill’. The mid-tempo ‘Sunrise’ and the Earth Wind And Fire influenced ‘Say That You Will’ are sublime tunes. ‘Festival’ is Brazilian inspired piece of Jazz Funk. ‘Follow The Rainbow’ is one of George Duke’s strongest albums.
