Great Pyramid’ is a 1976 album that Charles Ealrand recorded for Mercury with a great band. The stand out is the floating Modern Soul dancer ‘Drifting’ a lovely vocal track featuring Arthur Grant on vocals backed by the Jemigan Singers. Arthur also features on ‘In the land of Mu’a laid back groove where Charles plays some spacey electric keyboard textures, and the faster ‘Ahead of Your Time’. The (Irving) Spice Strings provide the backdrop throughout.
