From 1982, ‘Happy Together’ shows stylistic progression for the previous year’s offering with a stronger focus on a tight, boogie groove in many of the tracks, notably in ‘Together’ and the massive UK hit ‘Inside Out’. ‘Happy People’ and ‘Love’s Alright’ are good dance numbers alike while ‘When You Love Somebody’ is a stripped back, mellow ballad.
