Fifth studio album for the talented multi-instrumentalist Lack Of Afro and as ever the genre bending, style hoping feel is there. ‘Hello Baby’ has a Frankie Valli feel in the groove and points to northern soul while the galloping ‘I Got The Rhythm’ is more new breed R&B influenced. ‘All My Love’ is laced with sugar-sweet vocals, ‘Nothing Personal’ is a drama filled stomper while ‘Fires Glow’ is another highlight from the album and has that ‘modern northern soul’ type of vibe. Another varied set that even manages to feature a nu-disco moment in the form of ‘Magic Together’.
