Langa Langa’s release on Sweat Records from 1980, from Surinam via the Netherlands. One side, an afro-caribbean infused jazz / soul cut, the other a disco based dancefloor burner, recently getting radio play from Gilles Peterson on his 6 Music show.
Very little is known about this project, it seems that it was a project which was pressed, but for some reason never saw the light of day until deadstock copies were found in a warehouse in Europe.
Limited copies in store now. Not many made it to the UK so we don’t expect these to stay around for long.
