This is a fulsome 2020 ‘full version’ of Modern Art, the Art Brut classic – clocking in at over 15 minutes long, spread over both sides of the vinyl recorded this January in Berlin. Inspired by the concept of the ‘Secret Art Fair’, each 7″ is in a one-off hand painted sleeve so it’s completely unique. They’ll be painted by fans, friends, the band, team, upcoming artists etc. including already confirmed unique pieces of artwork by Black Francis (Pixies), Dev (Idles), Ezra Furman and Eddie’s Little Brother… Then – once people have bought the record on RSD, we’ll post all the details of who painted each one on the website, so everyone can find out which creative type painted their sleeve.
