MVP’ was the last album Harvey Mason recorded for Arista. It features the single ‘How Does It Feel’. ‘MVP’ was released in 1981 and has that very early eighties sound is more of a Soul album. ‘Universal Rhyme’ is an infectious groove, and ‘Spell’ has an EWF feel to its staccato groove. ‘On And On’ was the second single from this impressive album.
