Although sounding contemporary this album could have been recorded for Fania or early Salsoul 40 years ago, and it beings the spirit of Joe Bataan, Charlie Palmeiri and Joe Cuba into the present. Check the funky ‘Al I Wanna Do’ ,’Al Ritmo Del Latin Funk’, and the more Latin rhythms of ‘Descarga Cachao’, ‘Merecumbe’ and ‘My Barrio’.
