Jasper Street Co. are legends of the soulful house scene and this album further cements their place at the top of the tree for gospel infused dancefloor grooves. Comprising vocalists Randy Roberts, Vonita White, Richard Burton and producers Teddy Douglas and DJ Spen the ensemble deliver a stunning, 8-track ode to joy – uplifting, positive peak time sounds. ‘Paradise’ and ‘Everything’ are less overtly gospel but the production on ‘Praying For You’ is iressitable. The boogie laced ‘Rejoicing’ allows for some incredible vocal performances while ‘You’re My Latest, My Greatest’ is simply stunning – track of the album. Real feel good stuff!
