Irene Renee has a nice soulful voice and she has made a good album of mid tempo soul and slow jams in Ubiquitus Soul. ‘Court of Love’ and the slightly slower ‘Unpredictable’ are soothing mid tempo soul cuts. ‘Smile’ is a lovely lilting 2-stepper, ‘Runnin’ , ‘Shinin Bright’ , ‘Better Days’ and ‘I forgive U’ are slower beat ballads. ‘I Just Called Ya’ and ‘Godsend’ are more up tempo providing some contrast.
