Pharoah Sanders’ ‘Village Of The Pharoahs’ and ‘Wisdom through Music both date from 1973. They reflect the sound of this genius. His music is both worldly and other worldly. Intensity and spirituality permeates tracks like the three part ‘Village Of The Pharoahs’ and ‘The Mansion Worlds’. ‘Wisdom Through Music’ includes the short (5 minute version) of ‘Love Is Everywhere’, but otherwise is one of Pharoah Sanders’ more meditative albums.
