The Crusaders’ sax player released these, his first two and best albums in 1978 (‘We All Have A Star’) and 1980 (‘Inherit The Wind’). ‘Let’s Dance Together’ is a Jazz Funk dancer, but also check ‘I Know Who I Am’, ‘Ride On’ are fine tracks on a very strong Jazz Funk set. ‘Inherit The Wind’ is a classic – the title song and Donny Hathaway’s ‘Someday We’ll All Be Free’ feaure Bobby Womack. The latter in spine tingling. ‘Insight’ and the Jazz Funk groove of ‘Until the Morning Comes’ are gems too.
