The Blackbyrds recorded their first album in 1974 produced by Larry Mizell for sky High productions, co-produced by Donald Byrd. ‘Reggins’ was an album only track , issued here the first time on 45 and is a typically funky Blackbyrds groover that really hits the spot. ‘Blackbyrds Theme’ also from ’74 is from their second album ‘Flying High’ again never issued on 45 before. Two great tracks on this limited edition full centre DJ Copy, long out of print , limited stocks discovered in the back of the shop, grab your copy while you can.
