Record store day at Soul Brother records

 

Soul Brother Records will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary at Record Store Day on 16th April.

The Shop in Putney specialises in Soul, Funk, Jazz, Blues and Reggae and expects to carry all the special RSD limited edition releases within these genres on the day, plus a broad selection of other genres.

We have two in store signings :-

at 1pm Independent Uk Soul singer Natasha Watts will be launching and signing her new CD ‘2nd Time Around’

at 3pm Tony Momrelle will be signing his limited edition RSD 10”single ‘All the things you are’ (Louie Vega mix) .

Soul Brother are also releasing two special RSD releases on our own label on the day, reissues of a rare Soul single from Dee Edwards and a reissue of a highly acclaimed ‘This is Eleanore Mills’ LP with a bonus 45.

They are also introducing a new range of Soul Brother 25 T-Shirts on Record Store Day.

How to get to us on RSD

We are open from 8am to 7pm, there is likely to be a queue in the morning.

Parking

You can park for free in West Hill Road and Lytton Grove – walk through Coldstream Gardens over the tube bridge and you are in Keswick rd (residents restrictions do not apply at weekends), both are a  5 – 7 minute walk to the store.

There are also metered spaces in Keswick road £2.50 – 1hr limit).

37, 337 (from Peckham, Brixton, Clapham) stops outside shop.
