New Releases, Reissues and Restocks | Friday 27th October

Leela James returns with another strong Soul/R&B album ‘Thought U Knew’. NRG 2 is a good follow up to NRG 1, independent London Jazz on a very limited edition White label LP from drummer Chimonyo featuring members of Ezra Collective and other London players.

Tramp records present the fourth volume of their ‘Can You Feel it’ rare boogie and disco funk tracks from the 70’s and early 80s, limited edition LP has 4 more tracks than the CD and a bonus 45.

Kent reissue Candi Staton rare ‘Stand By Your Man’ on HIQ LP and card sleeve CD, along with her ‘I’m Just A Prisoner’ album. Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express has a 6 CD complete box set (arriving Monday).

There are five reissue 45s on BGP including the rare Johnny King & The Fatback Band 45 ‘Keep On Brother Keep On’ and Leon Thomas marvellous ‘The Creator Has A Masterplan’ . We are back in stock of quite a few nice albums on Cd and LP that haven’t been around for a while.
