Darrell Banks Classic 60's soul album 'Is Here' which includes his great 'Open the door to your heart' gets a welcome and lovingly made reissue on 180gm vinyl mastered from the original analogue tapes. Its a strong week for releases with good albums from Charenee Wade (superb jazzy covers of Gil scott heron songs) , a lovely summer Brazilian album from Lucas Arruda, and an excellent deep spiritual jazz set from Greg Foat Group. The Henry Stone Miami Sound is an essential compilation featuring many of the rare funky 45's from his TK empire, Ginger Johnson early afro beat set and Karin Krog compilation are also very good.
