A strong return from one of our favourites, Natasha Watts doesn’t disappoint the 2nd Time Around with a set full of classy, sophisticated soul grooves. The opener, ‘Waited For You’ is a really understated winner, early 80s retro in places with a brooding air of laid back sass and style. The upbeat, positive vibes of ‘Love Who You Are’ are draped over a truly memorable tune that stays with you, the slightly skewed groove and playful percussion of ‘Hit The Spot’ let’s Natasha’s vocal abilities shine, ‘Make It’ has an early 70s kind of tempo – kind of big city soul in places – ‘Easy Come Easy Go’ is more up to date with a straight up dancefloor tempo while the delicious stepper ‘Breath’ is a slab of adult soul that will get a lot of airtime! Thoroughly recommended, brilliant follow up.
