From 1984 ‘Be My Lover’ from O’Bryan was his third release with the likes of Paulinho Da Costa, Melvin Davis and Karl Denson in the personnel and kicks off with the strong, uptempo boogie funk of ‘Lovelite’. The title track ‘Be My Lover’ again features a good dance grove, ‘You’re On My Mind’ is a good stepper while ‘Go On And Cry’ will please fans of 80s quiet storm ballads.
