Thanks to the Mr Bongo label, this extremely hard to find Japanese LP is available on vinyl and CD. Flautist Hozan Yamamoto is something of national treasure in Japan and if this album is anything to go by justifiably so. The music fuses elements of Jazz, big band with Japanese elements. His flute playing is mysterious, spiritual and calming. The moods created are intoxicating throughout the 11 track set. Since the music is unheard of (virtually) listing to individual tunes is pointless.
