Gospel/ Soul legend Patti Labelle turns her considerable vocal talents towards Jazz. Her voice glides across classic tunes such as ‘Moanin’, ‘Moody’s Mood’, ‘Don’t Explain’ and countless others. Standouts – hard to pick but ‘The Jazz In You’ is sassy and suitably jazzy. The big band arrangements are superb and the sound re-production first class. And vocally well class is permanent.
