Compilation of 19 tracks from the important French Keyboardist and producer Jef Gilson. ‘Valse Pour Helene’ , ‘Blue Bizz’, Modulite Pour Mimi’ ‘Jazz A La Quarte’ ‘Suite Pour San remo – Ouverture’ are excellent examples of modal jazz. There’s also a good cover of Pharoah Sanders ‘Creator Has a Masterplan’ recorded in Madagascar. A major jazz discovery.
