Norweigan keyboardist Bugge Wessoltoft has assembled a strong team of musicians and friends for this excellent Jazz groove album. Bugge’s Piano , Rhodes and Synthesisers are to the fore but Eric Truffaz on Trumpet and Ilhan Ersahin on saxophone are also superb. The seven tracks are rhythmically very strong with great percussion from Joe Claussell and Erik Holm. ‘Play it’, ‘Do it’, ‘Faz it’, ‘Clauss it’ and the longer ‘Saisir’ are really good uplifting groove oriented tracks. Beady Belle vocalises on ‘Make it’ another heavy rhythm track. Strong album.
