With influences spanning Eastern and Northern African sounds alongside Western psychedelia, jazz and funk, this engaging and highly inventive group continue to push the boundaries of style to meld and blend their diverse tastes. ‘Leelah’ is a brooding, bass heavy groove with heavy rides throughout, ‘Kingdom Of D’mt’ is a spacey, otherworldly slab of Afro-funk, ‘Ka Rica-Tar’ is a bustling, full on production, leftfield jazz number, ‘JB R.I.P’ is (unsurprisingly) a JB-esque groove with added African overtones while the languid ‘Orange’ brings everything right down with a heavy dub bass and a flute that brings to mind music of the Nile. Every track brings something to the party! Awesome musical odyssey that constantly jolts you into paying full attention to the multi-layered form of each track.
