Colin Curtis presents Volume 4 part 2 of his Jazz Dance Fusion series, with another 13 mainly contemporary outings dotted with a few lesser heritage tracks for the dance floor.

Venus Dodson 2014 take on the Carlos Garnett/Norman Connors jazz-dance classic ‘Mother Of The Future’ gets the second part of the set of to a great start. Jacques Schwarz-Bart Latin dancer ‘Mende’ is another highlight. There’s a fantastic laid back spoken word groove from Mary Greer Mudiku Black Fire sessions, ft Plunky Branch ‘I Face East’. The first track on the B side is a lovely broken beat track by Stefano Di Santis and there’s also a very fiery version of ‘Samba De-La Cruz’ by the Japanese group Tres-Men. A brilliant part 2 to this varied compilation and a fantastic continuation Colin Curtis’s reputable series.
