British Jazz pianist Gordon Beck recorded ‘Gyroscope’ his only solo release in 1968. His pedigree is playing with Tubby Hayes and being Ronnie Scott’s hose band at the time. There are elements of the avant-garde to tracks such as ‘Gyroscope’ and ‘Suite No 1’. ‘Miss T Fying’ is a driving piece, whilst ‘Sincerity’ is more serene. For lovers of piano trio sets with a twist and those of the British jazz scene.
