Cherrelle recorded four albums for Tabu Records between 1985 and 1991, three produced by the legendary figures of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. 10 of the 12 tracks come from these three sets. Hits like ‘I DIdn’t Mean To Turn You On’, ‘When You Look In My Eyes’ and ‘Everything I Miss At Home’ plus the 80’s anthem ‘Saturday Love’ – a duet with stablemate Alexander O’Neal are present. It is the slower tunes like ‘Stay With Me’ that illustrate Cherrelle’s vocal prowess to best effect.
