Jazzcat compiled this 12 track contemporary Jazz dance featuring many strong tracks recorded in recent years. Jimetta Rose & amp; The Voices Of Creation’s marvellous take on the Sons & amp; Daughters Of Light track ‘Let The Sunshine In’ oozes class – 5 minutes of totally uplifting music. Yellowtail’s ‘Seasons In My Mind’ is a previously unreleased track ft the voice of the late great Mark Murphy, that swings along nicely. Malcolm Strachan’s ‘Cut To The Chase’ is a wonderful uptempo jazz dancer with some great musicianship. Nicola Conte’s ‘Freedom and Progress ft Zara McFarlane , Mama Terra’s ‘Ruptura’, Organic Pulse Ensemble’s mystical ‘ Formative Stages’ and Raffy Bushman’s percussive ‘For Horace’ are also highlights on this strong compilation.
