Jay Nemor is a singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist (he plays Sax and Percussion) with a deep voice. He writes good melodic message songs accompanied by good musicians. Just Sayin is a collection of thoughts and ideals like ‘Smiling Faces’, ‘Don’t Wait For Time’ and ‘Sunday Morning’. ‘Everyday’ and ‘Music’ are the most up tempo songs, hypnotic grooves with nice background Sax and Percussion, the acoustic version of ‘Music’ is another highlight where Jay’s voice and Bongos are to the fore. Comparisons will be made with Gil Scott Heron, who is probably the closest point of reference, but Jay has is own story to tell on this really nice album. Music for the mind and soul.

It is a very organic Album. All tracks have got so much Soul. The outstandig tracks on the album are “Smiling Faces” and “Music”. If you like Bill Withers than you like Jay too.
