‘Legacy’ hails from 1978 and features the +20 minutes opus ‘Legacy: Toccata/ Adagio/ ‘Fugue’, plus the Soul oriented ‘Well Well Well’, ‘Don’t Look Back’ and ‘All The Way Live’. ‘Ramsey’ has a Disco feel on tracks like the Wayne Henderson arrange and produced ‘Aquarius/ Let The Sunshine In’ and the James Mack produced ‘Dancin’. ‘Chance Encounter’ dates from 1982 and features a gentle version of Marvin’s ‘What’s Going On’ – a precursor for Smooth Jazz. ‘Live From The Savoy’ is a concert from 1982, its highlight being ‘Sassy Stew’ with Grover Washington Jr starring on sax. Grover guests on 3 other tunes. ‘Lynn’ is a fine tune as is the vocal ‘You’ll Never Know’.
