Brazilian Jazz funk band Azymuth had their own sound and this is the album that put them on the map. ‘Light As a Feather’ dates from 1979 and includes their dancefloor classic ‘Jazz Carnival’ and the equally manic ‘This Exists’. Also try the more laid back but equally good ‘Partido Alto’ and ‘Amazonia’. ‘Lighe As A Feather’ remains one of Azymuth’s classic releases.
