Herbie Mann, before his Disco Jazz days of ‘Hijack’ was a major figure in developing Jazz Fusion especially on the West Coast scene. This double CD documents a four-night stint at the legendary club and features the likes of Roy Ayers, Miroslav Vitous and guitarist Sonny Sharrock. All the material is unreleased and includes ‘Memphis Underground’, ‘Ooh Baby’, ‘Philly Dog’ and a medley featuring ‘Comin Home baby’.
