This Motown album remains one of Ronnie’s finest, recorded in 1976, ‘My Love Is Comin Down’ is a Marvin like gem. Songs like ‘It Won’t Be Long’, the up-tempo ‘Funky Situation’ and the melancholy ‘Goodbye After Sunday’ are strong mid seventies slices of Soul. This reissue includes an unreleased album that has never seen the light of day until now. It features the 10 minute opus ‘Start Over As Your Man, the soothing ‘Dream Come True’, the mid-tempo ‘For Those Who Don’t Believe’, the groove laden ‘Love Proposaition’ and the lovely ballad ‘Just You Babe’ amongst a series of quality Soul tunes.
