24 Mainly Southern soul singles recorded by Denise LaSalle for the Westbound label in the early to mid 70’s. Her big hits ‘Trapped By A Thing Called Love’ and ‘Now Run and tell That’ and the cover of label mates Detroit Emeralds ‘Do me Right’ are amongst the 15 cut in Memphis 1970-73. The string laden Modern Soul dancer ‘Here I Am Again’ and the ballad ‘Married But Not To Each other’ were made in Detroit in 75/76. This is a great collection from an under appreciated artist at her peak.
