Atlanta based Jazz vocalist Brenda Nicole Moorer has made a quality laid back vocal Jazz album ‘Marrow’ featuring seven mainly self written songs. The exception being Stevie Wonder’s ‘Take a Little Trip ‘ Which is given a lovely floating Jazz version. ‘Flying Lessons’ , ‘Find your way’, ‘Catch me I’m falling’ and ‘Marrow’ are probably the best of the original material , intriguing songs that demand your attention. Nice album that highlights Brenda’s pure voice and features some great musicianship.
