Nice album which has an early 80’s feel, recorded in London by a full band led by Bassist, Writer and Producer Robert Strauss. The band includes Xantone Blacq on fender Rhodes , horns , strings and vocals from Stuart Lisbie. ‘One Step Closer’, ‘Classic Lady’ and ‘Give into the Night’ are uptempo dancers. The mid tempo groover Distance Can be Sweet’ and ‘Rainy Night in London’ (based on Joe Sample’s Rainy Night in Monterey) are also good tracks.

I was fortunate to see this group in December at The Hideaway in Streatham.
I have the album and it is on continuous play at present! If you get an opportunity to see them please go.
