Series. Jazz Bop Vocalist Bob Dorough (1923-2018) composed “Multiplication Rock” as a way for children to remember Multipliaton tables. With the use of upbeat pop and rock melodies it turned into a huge suceess and was Grammy Nominated for Best Children Recording. A huge influence of many artists such as De La Soul who sampled the record, to Elliott Smith who covers the song “Figure 8” and titled his record after it.
