Nicola Conte collaborates with vocalist Stephania Dipierro on this good album of Jazz, Bossa and folky soul cuts aptly titled ‘Natural’. The title track ‘Natural’ is a standout blending global grooves with Dipierro’s rich timbre, the excellent funky folk of ‘I Feel The Sun On Me’ mixes lots of musical ideas and produces a warm, chilled out dance groove while ‘A Gira’ builds and builds towards its finale. ‘Within You And I’ has a slight spiritual feel coupled with a laid back vibe, ‘Ainda Mais Amor’ is a lovely, pacey bossa track while the wonderful live jazz of ‘The Meaning Of Love’ sees Stephania’s sultry vocal fitting perfectly with the music. Really good.
