Birmingham’s favourite daughter Julie Dexter relocated to Atlanta a decade ago, and the influence of Atlanta’s sound is evident on’ New again’ The bossa infl ‘This Thing Called Love’ along with her layered vocals make this a great track.’Blue Skies’ is another quality mid tempo shuffler, ‘4 love 2 Love’ a nice floater and ‘Sunrise’ and ‘What Goes Around’ good mid tempo tracks. ‘Come On Home’ has a more uptempo groove. The album is quality throughout and has a really good feel to it. Highly recommended.
