The O’Jays were the biggest group on Philadelphia International and recorded some fantastic albums in the 70’s, many had a social message in the lyrics. Five of their best albums recorded 1972-77 are packaged here with individual card sleeves. ‘Backstabbers’ and ‘Ship Ahoy’ are two of the all time great Soul albums incl tracks like ‘For the love of money’ , ‘Sunshine’ , ‘Love train’ and ‘Now that we found love’. ‘Give the people what they want’, ‘I love music’ and ‘She’s only a woman’ are highlights from the other albums.
