Citrus Sun is the brainchild of Jean-Paul Maunick (Bluey) and shows his love for classic British Guitarist Jim Mullen . Their second album ‘People of Tomorrow’ is another fine primarily instrumental Jazz album heavily featuring Jim’s soulful and melodic guitar playing and featuring many members of Incognito including keyboardist Matt Cooper. ‘Mais Una Vez (One more time) ‘ is a lovely easy paced shuffler. ‘Tonight we dance’ and the groove oriented, horn backed ‘Cooking with walter’ are more up tempo. ‘Yesterday Detroit’ is another strong groove track with lovely soft horns in the background. There is a good cover of Marvin’s ‘Whats Going on’ and a nice version of Terry Callier’s ‘What color is love’ featuring Valarie Etienne on vocals.
