Peoples Choice were a popular group on Philadelphia International but this self titled album was recorded for Casablanca in 1980 and produced by the legendary Tom Moulton. It includes three super dancers the Disco orientated ‘You Ought To Be Dancin’, the slower ‘My Feet Won’t Move But My Shoes Did The Boogie’ and the whimsical ‘Bad Dancin Rita’ . There is a superb upbeat Soul dancer in the Philly sounding ‘If I Knew Then What I Know How’. And the 2 steppers will go for ‘Special Things For You’ and ‘Sweeter Than Honey’. There are 3 bonus cuts including the infectious ‘Hey Everybody Party Hearty’ originally released on West End. Brilliant.
