Produced by McFadden and Whitehead and Victor Carstarphen, ‘A Portrait Of..’ features the original versions of the classic ‘Standing Right Here’ and ‘Promised Land’ (twelve inch versions as bonus cuts). ‘Just Another Link’ is a fine slice of mid 70’s Funk tinged Soul, whilst ‘Is This The End’ has that Philly influenced bounce. Strong album.
