Amazing 4 LP and 144 page book including 31 Rare Soul tracks document the early Minneapolis Sound in the late 70’s before Prince’s Purple reign. 94 East ‘If You See Me’ is a nice mid tempo soul groover, Aura ‘Taste of love’ is slightly funkier but has a haunting hook line, Mind & Matter ‘I’m under your spell’ is a raw Modern soul dancer whilst Haze almost manic paced ‘Waiting for the moment’ has an uplifting Californian style groove and lovely vocal harmonies. Rockie Robbins ‘Together’ is a classy mid tempo stepper.
