Reissue of extremely rare 1976 soul and funk LP from Los Angeles band Rhyhthm Machine, original copies now sell for over £1500. The standout track is the lovely rare groove ‘Put A Smile On Time’ a horn backed mid tempo groover which has a real feel good sound, which has made this album sought after for decades. ‘Cant Do Without It’ is more upbeat with punchy horns , strong vocals and a catchy chorus. ‘You Got Action, You Got me’ , ‘Lils Place’ and ‘Everybodys Chippin’ are funkier and grittier typical of the sound of ’76. Overal a strong albmu that managed to slip under the radar at the time and has been hard to find ever since.
